Miss Christy is a Young Artist of Opera Hong Kong. Her singing was highly commended by American conductor as ‘beautiful elegant singing… lined up top to bottom. Impressive!’. She is the First Place winner of the Australian Concerto & Vocal Competition and the First Prize winner of Golden Classical Music Awards (New York) International Music Competition. Being selected as the Most Outstanding Singer in the 2nd International Opera Exchange Masterclass in 2016, she received a scholarship to study singing in Italy. Miss Christy has obtained MA Music in Vocal Performance Studies with distinction at the University of York, and MA Music degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
As a singer, she has performed in opera, musicals and recitals in mainland China, Italy, Australia, the US, the UK, Vietnam and Hong Kong. Miss Christy has played the roles of Carmen in Carmen, Cherubino and Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro, Dorabella in Cos fan tutte, Nicklaus and La Muse in the Tales of Hoffmann, Madame de la Haltiere in Cendrillon, the Sorceress and Spirit roles in Dido and Aeneas, Third Lady in Magic Flute, and Maria in The Sound of Music. She was also the Alto soloist in Vivaldi Gloria, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Haydn’s Nelson Mass, Bach’s St John Passion and the Asia premiere of Palmeri Martin’s Tango Gloria. Being invited twice by Nanshan Grand Theatre, Shenzhen, for holding her vocal recital in recent years, she achieved great success and was highly commended by local press. She is active in vocal performance, as well as music education. She has taught voice in local high schools and also been an adjudicator of singing competitions in York and in Hong Kong.

Teaching piano and vocal music from beginner to performance level, prepare them for taking part in the Royal Schools and the Trinity Guild Hall exams, and inter-school music festival competitions.

Lesson Booking Procedure: | |
1. | Submit student information; The tutor will respond according to the information.Messages between student/tutor will be screenshotted or forwarded through M5 Music.* |
2. | Discuss and arrange the lesson time, location, tuition fee, etc. |
3. | The lesson will be confirmed after completing the payment of the Tuition of the First Lesson. |
4. | Take the lesson according to the booking time. |
5. | The second lesson and beyond are arranged by the student/tutor themselves. |

Before student/parent makes payment: | |
i. | Some tutors do NOT accept direct contact. |
ii. | Some tutors will call student/parent with a “Hidden Number”.* |

* | After contacting the tutor, if the student/parent intends to take a lesson, the tuition of the first lesson has to be paid to M5 Music before having lesson. |
The tuition of the first lesson is charged by M5 Music (accept Bank Transfer or FPS); Students do NOT need to pay additional fee for the first lesson.
Starting from the second lesson, please pay tuition directly to the tutor. Generally, four lessons will be calculated as one session. Please check with your tutor about the payment method for the second lesson and beyond.
Student’s absent must be proposed 24 hours before the lesson time. Otherwise, it will be regarded as “Impromptu Absence”. Providing a make-up lesson or not will be decided by the tutor him/herself. Hereby declare, M5 Music will NOT provide refund for “Impromptu Absence” even if the tutor does not want to provide a make-up lesson.
If the first lesson is affected by typhoon and rainstorm warning, M5 Music can assist both parties to reschedule the lesson.
We only provide a refund if the tutor is absent on the original booking time, and cannot provide a make-up lesson for the next 14 days. Apart from this, we do not accept any refund request.
