Rossano Law, International Artist of Hootersmae Brass and Perantucci Mouthpieces, graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and received his Master of Music Degree with Distinction. Studied under Matthew White and Philippe Schwartz.
Rossano started playing the Euphonium at the age of 8 and the Trombone at the age of 10. Under the guidance of Tse Luen Wah, he has won a total of 10 First Prizes in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival at his young age. Rossano was also the winner of the SliderAsia 2011 Trombone Festival open competition.
Rossano completed his Bachelor of Music (Honours) Degree at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts under the guidance of Ben Pelletier. He also participated in many masterclasses and has been coached by Steven Mead, Misa Mead, David Childs, Bastien Baumet, Adam Frey, Patrik Randefalk, Chris Robertson, Sarah Willis and Jonny Bates. Apart from being a soloist, Rossano has also been involved in a variety of music performances including Wind Ensembles and Orchestras. He was the Bass Trombonist of Hong Kong Chamber Wind Philharmonia. He has also played with the City Chamber Orchestra, Gustav Mahler Orchestra and Macao Orchestra as a freelance musician.
During his time living in the UK, Rossano was a member of The Staffordshire Band. He has also been invited to perform in public often as a soloist and received a lot of positive feedback.
Rossano is currently a Brass Tutor and Orchestra Conductor at Tseung Kwan O Catholic Primary School and Euphonium Tutor at Hon Wah College. He is also a Part-time Lower Brass Tutor at the Music Office.
