Service Arrangement

The preparation of the Wedding Live Band needs at least 28 days. Please contact us as early as possible in order to have a better arrangement.

Service Arrangement
28-day beforeClients must clearly state all the “Basic Banquet Information” and the “Performance Service Requirements” in written-text or written-message (either WhatsApp or email). The content are as follows:
  • Basic Banquet Information
  • Date of the Wedding Banquet
  • Entry Time
  • Venue Information
  • Number of Attendance
  • Anything that the Company or the Performers have to Pay Attention to
  • Performance Service Requirements
  • The Starting and Ending Time of the Performance
  • Performance Style or Theme (Recommended clients to provide instructions, such as lyrical music, romance, joyful, classic, modern, pop, etc. The company and performers will prepare about 12 repertoires per hour)
  • Number of Performers and the Ensemble Setting
  • Client’s Self-selected Repertoires (Important: Please notify us as early as possible, preferably before the company start contacting performers)
  • Anything that the Company or the Performers have to Pay Attention to
27-to-15-day beforeOnce we recieve the “Basic Banquet Information” and the “Performance Service Requirements” from the client, we will then search for suitable performer(s), and assist performer(s) to ask client about the banquet details. The client is needed to keep in touch with us.
14-day before
We will generally finalise the performance plan and quotation 14-day (or earlier) before the wedding date. If the client accepts the performance plan and quotation, the payment is required to be completed at least 14-day before the wedding date.
Explanation of date calculation (example): If the wedding banquet is scheduled on December 31, 2022, the client has to complete the payment before December 17, 2022 11:59pm. Otherwise, it will be considered as overdue.
After the PaymentAfter the payment, if the client notices that the situation of the banquet has been updated or changed, and may affect the performance plan, please inform us as early as possible. However, clients have to understand that Once the company starts contacting performers, all changes that proposed by the client are regarded as “Temporary Changes”, and must be unanimously agreed upon by the company and each performer before it can be implemented (incl.: changing the performance date, changing the performance time, changing the performance venue, changing the number of performers, changing the ensemble setting, changing or adding client’s self-selected repertoires); The company and performers may charge additional fees in order to accomplish clients’ Temporary Changes; The company reserves the right to reject Temporary Changes after receiving the payment, and to implement the performance service according to the original plan.
Wedding DateThe performer(s) and assistant(s) will arrive to the venue 15-30mins before, and perform on time. We hope the client and all the attending people enjoy the music performance, with our most sincere wishes.

Common Wedding Music

The following list is for reference only, clients can also specify any repertoire of their own choice (please notify as early as possible so that we can prepare the sheet music and rehearse). In addition to the client’s self-selected music, the company and performers will also prepare about 12 repertoires per hour.

Music ArrangementDepending on the actual situation.
Large InstrumentGenerally from $200 to $600 per each large instrument (upright piano, grand piano, and harp will be discussed separately), depending on the handling procedure and distance, calculated by by round trip. Large instruments include upright piano, grand piano, electric piano, harp, double bass, jazz drum, guzheng, yangqin.
Sound EquipmentMost of our ensemble setting belongs to the traditional chamber music. In most cases, chamber music is performed without sound equipment. However, it is actually depends on the client’s needs while the environment of the venue is the key. If the sound equipments those related to the Live Performance Service are needed to handle by us, please inform us as early as possible. Fees are negotiated.
Perform on BoatDepending on various factors such as the purpose of performance, sailing route, boat condition, berthing location, boarding and landing time, and so on. Fees are negotiated.
Overdue Payment
Clients are required to complete the payment at least 14-day before the wedding banquet. If the client has not complete the payment by 11:59pm with 14-day before the performance date, 10% administration fee will be added per day. Meanwhile, we reserve the right to “Refuse to provide performance service to the client”.

The company will generally finalise the performance plan and quotation 14-day (or earlier) before the wedding date. The date of the wedding banquet, the performer(s) and assistant(s) will arrive to the venue 15-30mins before, and perform on time.
The Client’s ResponsibilitiesBefore make the payment, the client must be ensuring that he/she has clearly stated all the “Basic Banquet Information” and the “Performance Service Requirements” in written-text or written-message (either WhatsApp or email). The client has to understand that:

  • If there is a discrepancy between the performance and the client’s expectations, or the performance service cannot be carried out smoothly due to the client’s human factors, it will be regarded as “Client’s Fault”. No refund will be given.
  • In case of any dispute, M5 Music reserves the right of final decision.
Special CircumstancesIf the banquet event and the performance service cannot be conducted as originally planned because of typhoon and rainstorm warnings or other objective circumstances that are unforeseeable, unavoidable and insurmountable, the company will discuss the maximum adjustable space with the client according to the actual situation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of music do M5 Music Performers usually play?

Most M5 Music Performers are graduated from university’s or conservatory’s music degree. In general, they are good at playing Western classical music (c. 1600-1900) or Chinese music; modern pop or lyrical style of music should not be a problem.

Would M5 Music offer performances for other types of event?

Yes, including but not limited to “Annual Dinner”, “Corporate Event”, “Family Party”, “Private Banquet”. The service arrangements and charges for any type of activities are generally the same as the content on this page, and may be slightly adjusted according to the actual situation of each case.
