Teach students by their aptitude, focusing on arousing their interest in music for young children, and cultivating their ability to appreciate music for students above the intermediate level. Heuristic teaching enables students to have the ability to examine their performance advantages and disadvantages during their practice sessions. Therefore, students can make improvements and learn by themselves.
I would not rush the student to take exams. Learning step by step, focusing on basic skills, and using extensive and diversified teaching materials so that students can master different styles of music interpretation, understand the stories behind the music, and develop their performance style. Emphasize the teacher-student relationship and the role of parents in the classroom.
