Charlie Choi-Lee Hung has completed her studies in The Royal Conservatory of Brussels, earning a Bachelor’s and Masters Degree in Music, majoring in the Harp under the tutelage of world-class harpists Jana Bouskova and Agnes Clement. In between the degrees, she was an exchange student at the Academy for Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU) through the Erasmus Scholarship Programme. She has previously attained the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music, Harp Performance (LRSM) and DipABRSM in Harp Performance.
She has performed all over Hong Kong and Europe, including in Belgium, Tignes, France, Ittervoort, Netherlands, Prague, Czech, Tignes, France, and with the Hong Kong Ensemble during the 12th World Harp Congress in Sydney. In 2019 she won the First Prize in the International Music Competition Brussels – Grand Prize Virtuoso and was invited to attend the award ceremony in the distinguished Bozer Concert Hall. She also performed harp solo and chamber music in Ath College Saint Julien Chepel, Chateau de Moulbaix and in Eglise Saint-Martin Church, Chievres, Nazareth in Belgium. In Prague, the Czech Republic, she performed Le Festin de l’Araignee by Roussel, Dny Bohuslava Martinu 2019 as the principal Harpist with the orchestra in Sal Martinu Hall.
In Hong Kong, her performances include the St. John’s 100th Anniversary Celebration Dinner, Shatin Symphony Orchestra Annual Concert and ABRSM Celebration Orchestra as the Principal harpist. She also performs the harp at wedding, ceremonies, openings, special events, orchestras and chamber music. She plays a wide range of repertories from different eras, from baroque, classical, romantic, pop to contemporary music.

She has been immersed in piano and music studies since she was six. She has already obtained the Dip ABRSM and LRSM in solo piano recital and the Trinity Piano Diploma in AT Recital. To further her knowledge in music, she has completed the Chinese University of Hong Kong Professional Advanced Diploma programme. She has also attended a summer course in the Fryderyk Chopin School of Music in Poland in 2013. In 2016 she has completed the ABRSM Certificate and Diploma of Teaching to broaden her knowledge in pedagogy. She is a versatile professional music teacher with more than fifteen years of experience. She is well-versed in piano, harp, theory, aural, ear training, harmony teaching and music history and harp group classes for children and adult. She also taught harp group in secondary school and baby harp classes in Belgium. Occasionally she is invited to be a judge in music competitions.
She would like to share with her students the knowledge that she has gained from her studies and experiences.

2. | Discuss and arrange the lesson time, location, tuition fee, etc. |
3. | The lesson will be confirmed after completing the payment of the Tuition of the First Lesson. |
4. | Take the lesson according to the booking time. |
5. | The second lesson and beyond are arranged by the student/tutor themselves. |

Before student/parent makes payment: | |

The tuition of the first lesson is charged by M5 Music (accept Bank Transfer or FPS); Students do NOT need to pay additional fee for the first lesson.
Starting from the second lesson, please pay tuition directly to the tutor. Generally, four lessons will be calculated as one session. Please check with your tutor about the payment method for the second lesson and beyond.
M5 Music and all tutors do NOT offer free trial lessons. All “trial lessons” are considered as the “first lesson”.
Student’s absent must be proposed 24 hours before the lesson time. Otherwise, it will be regarded as “Impromptu Absence”. Providing a make-up lesson or not will be decided by the tutor him/herself. Hereby declare, M5 Music will NOT provide refund for “Impromptu Absence” even if the tutor does not want to provide a make-up lesson.
If the first lesson is affected by typhoon and rainstorm warning, M5 Music can assist both parties to reschedule the lesson.
We only provide a refund if the tutor is absent on the original booking time, and cannot provide a make-up lesson for the next 14 days. Apart from this, we do not accept any refund request.
