Born in Hong Kong, Anna Vienna Ho gained an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma and a Master of Music in Piano Performance with distinction from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where she received a number of awards and scholarships. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Music from Hong Kong Baptist University. She was the winner of numerous international piano competitions, including Concours International Leopold Bellan, Rome International Music Competition, Montpelier Arts Center Classical Recital Competition, International Robert Schumann Klavier Welttbert, Internationaler Deutscher Irmler-Klavierwettbewerb, International Music Competition “Таланты XXI века”, International Moscow Music Competition, 5th Propiano International Competition, Quebec International Music Competition, IYMC International Classical Music Competition, Mid-Somerset Festival, North London Music Festival, London Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition, Abergavenny Eisteddfod Y Fenni and Leamington Spa Competitive Festival among others.
Anna is a versatile musician who has worked as a concert pianist, répétiteur, composer, opera singer and conductor for a number of music organizations, including Welsh National Opera, Birmingham Opera Company, Tête à Tête Opera Festival, Opera Novella, London Oriana Choir and London Gay Symphony Orchestra, among others. She has been selected as a Du Vert a L’infini festival artist and the Montpelier Arts Center Classical Recital artist. Recently, she has worked as a répétiteur for Bel Canto Singers’ production of “My Beloved”, a pasticcio of music by Giacomo Puccini.
Passionate about opera, Anna has participated in different opera performances in Hong Kong and the UK, including Verdi’s Macbeth, La Traviata, Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, Suor Angelica, La Bohème, Bellini’s Norma, Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, Bizet’s Carmen, Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci and Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors. She was the first prize winner of several music festivals, Holmfirth Musical Festival, Newcastle-U-Lyme Festival of Music, and the Coulsdon and Purley Festival, to name a few. Anna’s compositions include instrumental, vocal, electroacoustic, multi-media, orchestral and operatic works, which were premiered around the world by various musicians.
Anna has had extensive teaching experience over 10 years with pupils from 3 years to 60 years, from beginners to professionals. She enjoys teaching piano, accompaniment, music theory, singing, as well as composing. She was the adjudicator of the “Festival of Instrumental and Vocal Arts” International Online Music Competition and Virtuozy International Music Competition. She is a tutor at Hong Kong International Institute of Music, Yip’s Children’s Choir and the International Marine Symphony Academy of Music.

Before student/parent makes payment: | |

The tuition of the first lesson is charged by M5 Music (accept Bank Transfer or FPS); Students do NOT need to pay additional fee for the first lesson.
Starting from the second lesson, please pay tuition directly to the tutor. Generally, four lessons will be calculated as one session. Please check with your tutor about the payment method for the second lesson and beyond.
Student’s absent must be proposed 24 hours before the lesson time. Otherwise, it will be regarded as “Impromptu Absence”. Providing a make-up lesson or not will be decided by the tutor him/herself. Hereby declare, M5 Music will NOT provide refund for “Impromptu Absence” even if the tutor does not want to provide a make-up lesson.
If the first lesson is affected by typhoon and rainstorm warning, M5 Music can assist both parties to reschedule the lesson.
We only provide a refund if the tutor is absent on the original booking time, and cannot provide a make-up lesson for the next 14 days. Apart from this, we do not accept any refund request.
