Cheuk Chi (Gigi) Mok began playing horn at age 10. She holds a Master degree in Music Performance (French Horn) in Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Art (Hons) in Music Degree in Hong Kong Baptist University. She studied with Mr. Mark Houghton, Mr. Lin Jiang and Mr. Homer Lee. Mok received the Duquesne University Performance Award scholarship, Hong Kong Baptist University Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding Local Students and Hong Kong Baptist University Student Exchange Scholarship and Sponsorship scheme. With the financial support of the school, she had a semester exchange at Bowling Green State University and studied with Dr. Andrew Pelletier.
Mok is an active orchestral player. She played with Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Erie Philharmonic, Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra, Ohio Light Opera, Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, etc. She also participated in recording sessions as a horn player with Hong Kong Pop Singer, Justin Lo.
Mok is passionate about music education. She taught in various schools in Hong Kong, including PLK Ma Kam Ming College and TWGHs Kitty Woo Music and Art Development Centre (Academy of Music). She was also an event assistant of Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong.
